A great big hello...
My home studio is nestled in a grove of eucalyptus trees in Lake Forest California, where my two felines keep me company as I create works of art. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am crazy about animals, especially cats.
I love to work in a variety of mediums from quick pencil sketches and delicate watercolor to rich and glossy oils. No matter what type of art I create I am continually captivated by the unveiling process of creating a work of art.
I feel privileged to spend time with each unique animal as I bring them to life on paper or canvas. It gives me great joy to bring a portrait to completion and to feel that I have been able to capture and express the essence of someone’s beloved companion.
I must admit that sometimes I wish I could enjoy more time with each portrait once it is finished. Thankfully I get more of a thrill sending finished portraits out into the world to be cherished by another.
